Josef Herman's life and work is explored through an exhibition and in conversation with Betty Rae Herman, director of Josef Herman Art Foundation Cymru, while contemporary artist Owen Griffiths will show his own work and talk about his practice by contrast. Free.

Widely published poet and experienced tutor, Chris Kinsey, is running two separate workshops: the morning session relates to the Oriel Davies gallery exhibition; the afternoon will be inspired by Newtown's riverside and park.
